Scholarship Requirements:
To be considered for the scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
The scholarships will be given to those who are admitted to the ChM (Online Learning) General Surgery, Urology, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Vascular & Endovascular, and MSc Surgical Sciences (Online Learning) programs. A resident of Africa, South Asia, the Caribbean, the Pacific Islands, or Central or South America is required.
Scholarship Duration and Reward:
Subject to good progress, each scholarship will pay for the entire tuition charge with consideration given to a contribution towards the cost of internet connection, printing, and project expenditures.
Required Documents:
To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- Basic Medical Degree, as defined by the General Medical Council (MBChB or equivalent).
- Final transcript for your degree in basic medicine. This is a formal University document that is typical, though not always, issued concurrently with the awarding of the degree. It details every course you took and the grade you earned while earning your degree.
- Information about one referee. The online form will allow you to submit your referee’s email address, after which the system will email them automatically.
- A declaration from you stating that you are pursuing your education in a clinic under supervision.
- English language evidence. You must present proof of your English language ability if you are not from an English-speaking nation (as defined by UK Visas & Immigration), such as an IELTS or TOFEL certificate.
