Concept:
The IsDB Scholarship Programme is more than just a scholarship program in the traditional sense of providing outstanding and qualified students with direct financial assistance. In addition, it is an instrument for improving the socioeconomic conditions of Member States and Muslim communities. It is essentially a scholarship program and a development program at the same time since the scholarship is provided to the students as an interest-free loan (Qard Hasan) and as a grant to the communities/countries to which they belong.
After graduation and obtaining gainful employment, students must fulfill the obligations outlined in each program. In addition, pupils are required to contribute to the growth of their communities/nations through their respective professions. The repaid funds will be used to provide scholarships to other students from the same community/country to ensure the long-term sustainability of the IsDB Programme, while the community development services provided by the students and graduates will contribute to the overall development of the community/country.
