You must have a high level of academic success and satisfy the admission standards for the Ph.D. program in order to be eligible for a Ph.D. scholarship at Bond University. Additionally, you must submit a research proposal outlining the novelty and potential significance of the study you propose. Some scholarships could also offer extra money to cover travel and research costs.

The scholarship has a three-year maximum duration and is tax-free. Scholarships are available to anyone pursuing a Ph.D. or Doctorate by Research at Bond University AND who has an acceptance letter in hand. Scholarships are available for any Ph.D. Doctorate by Research programs offered at Bond University.

Amount of Scholarships:

Successful candidates will receive tuition fee waivers and a living allowance of $29,863 per annum for outstanding students.

Duration of Scholarships:

Scholarships are available for the duration of your study: up to 3 (three) years.


Applicants must fulfill all of the requirements listed below in order to be eligible for the scholarships:

  • All nations are welcome to apply. Nationality is not a limitation.
  • All entry requirements for Bond University’s Ph.D. program must be satisfied by applicants.
  • In addition to fulfilling visa and residency criteria, applicants must meet the English language admission requirements.
  • To enroll in classes at Bond University, candidates must have a current offer letter.
  • Only new students are eligible for scholarships. Applicants must not currently be enrolled in school.
  • Reapplication is not permitted for applicants who have previously applied but were rejected.
  • If a candidate is receiving another scholarship during the application period, they are ineligible.
